Surf Safely… or at least safer

One of our topics that we been discussing heavilly “off air” centers around how can we make the everday john/jane doe safer online. While there are a lot of options for us “techies” they are often prove too difficult for everday users. While we will be covering this in more detail in one of our future podcasts, I wanted to share with you this great resource.

In addition, to safer browsing many of the tools listed can be leveraged to help secure an open/untrusted wireless environment.

One particular honorable mention that I didn’t see on the list (I have jsut begun to play with it so can’t offer much of an opinion on it yet) is C0ccoon. Reading their website, I think they have a lot of potential. https://getcocoon.com/support/download

Hope this helps some of our readers.
