Pwnies on order – they’re here!

So I decided to start ordering everything I need for building out the PwnPad community edition –  and in 3-5 days, depending on shipping, I should have my own PwnPad. While I wait for the order I have been watching some of the great videos:

More to come when I start getting everything in.

May 6th (may the sith be with you?)  Update: Today the Nexus 7 arrived and about an hour later I am the new owner of a PWNPad Community edition. Now I have to play around and get used to it. Note to anyone that is thinking about doing this – it is real easy and straight forward – the only thing that took me a while was getting my old computer to load Ubuntu (heard others got it working in Kali but  I run Kali via VMWare so to get a local unix boot I installed ubuntu 12.04 on my old laptop) and then to wait for it to copy files over – I did mention it was an older laptop right. In addition to the Android tools recommended in the user manual may I suggest the following good additions (still looking for more so if you have any insight please share):

1. dsploit,

2. inssider

3, interceptor-ng

4.pwsafe – keep track of creds found

Once I get used to everything there are a few things I want to work on:

1. How to update the tools – specifically metasploit and SET

2. modify the LogWiper script to add an option to archive info – save the capture files off to the USB before wiping that way you can get data off of the pwnpad easily

3. Order ubertooth 🙂 and bluetooth adapter (I only have wired and wireless).

Thanks again to the team over at Pwnie express – you guys rock. I am now a proud parent of a pwnplug and pwnpad 🙂

May 7th update:  According to the link –  http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7716753&CatId=6957&SRCCODE=LINKSHARE&cm_mmc_o=-ddCjC1bELltzywCjC-d2CjCdwwp&AffiliateID=WxHRncoD05Y-6cKYcX3bV.8YztO8T7KlDQ  – Tiger direct has Nexus 7 refurbs for $129. While sold out online they are still (according to their site) available in the Dover DE store (Compusa). If you want to venture out and try one this is a great price.
