Headed over to the Maritime Institute for a little mobile forensics training. Class just kicked off – seeing all the toys in the corner of the class I think this will be a fun “hands-on” class. Granted thus is still an ISACA training event so I am not sure how technical it will get but here is hoping it will be enough to keep us awake.
Update: class was fun and we got to play with the “toys in the corner” to perform forensic analysis on a bunch of different phones. Not as much hands on time as I would have liked but given the class (most did the bear minimum when hands on started and then bolted) it was the right amount. Would love to play in this space more but the “toys” are quite expensive – time to start saving.
