This is a much needed book on a topic that a lot of developers have not had experience with. The mobile platforms have introduced a new avenue for developers to explore, this book is like have a guided tour from a trusted friend down the back alleys of the platform. It will help you to know the things that will protect your data and more importantly sometimes, your customer’s data from the darker sides of the Android platforms. With so much malware on the platform, the safeguards discussed in this book are much needed to protect your app.
As the book discusses, if your app is used to compromise a user’s device or expose private information, it looks very badly for you app and business and people will be slow to trust future versions or future apps.
